This is my entry for ‘The Great British Postcard Competition’, a design contest launched by Saxoprint to find a single postcard that summed up Great Britain in 2017. Artists and designers were invited to create a piece of artwork inspired by the year’s events.

My entry was a play on words, inspired by the fracturing of our great nation after Brexit. I wanted to depict the United Kingdom’s flag being torn apart, a commentary on the future we possibly face after this divisive decision by the masses.
